Update...on Me...

Yes, the rumors are True...

As you may have already heard...

I am going to be deployed to Iraq...

I thought that I would go ahead and clear up in JUNK that might be in the rumors. I am going to to tell you all that I know....ALL of it....and I will continue to keep you all updated as I get more information.

On October 1st, 2007, I will be put on Active duty status. For about a week and a half (til about October 10th/11th), I will be doing paperwork down at my unit (NAS JRB) in Fort Worth. From there my Truck Platoon will be flown to the East or West coast (dont know which one yet), and we will remain there for about a month to a month and a half. At the end of November/beginning of December we will deployed to Iraq. We will remain there for about 7 months. (Bringing me back HERE in June-ish.)

The ONLY other info I have is that we will be attached to a Grunt unit (AKA an Infantry unit): meaning that I will be hauling Grunts and there equipment around.

I SAY AGAIN....This is ALL that I know....NOTHING more.

Many people have asked me "How I feel" about it. All I can say to that is that God is BIGGER than this situation. All of my hope and trust is in Him. This is His will for my life, so I intend to obey it. I can't tell you all how Great He is in what He is going to provide, but I am TRUELY grateful.

I plan to have a list of all of the Marines going typed up soon, so that I can pass it out for people (that are willing) to pray for them BY NAME.

I am unsure how to start this one....

I have been SUCH a fool....chasing things that are of the world.....seeking selfish desires.....BY THE GRACE OF GOD....i havent done anything that i will regret....Satan has been trying to blind me to the blessings that God has given me....

This season has been hard for me....along with my job in which my female coworkers have been very flirtatious and giving me attention that my flesh desires....

I am so amazed and in awe of how God lives and breathes through my friendship with Bethany....I had a thoroughly enjoyable conversation with her tonite....

It is so hard to wait....but as time goes on, I know it will be WELL worth it....

BUT....i have to say that i am UP   SET....why?.....cuz i bring my friend with me....thinking of how my friends are with welcoming new people.....and who tries to talk to her?....MAYBE 4 people....(thank you to those).....NOT 10 min later.....another guy comes in.....who, to my knowledge, didnt know anyone except for Keith, who brought him......and then all of the sudden people feel like being friendly....and start getting up to introduce themselves.......yeah.....okay, well i said it....and its over.....im dropping it....
